You are not doing enough! This country is waist-deep in Fascism, and all the safeguards put in place to protect us from a Dictatorship (ie, YOU) are failing us. What the Hell are we doing in Iran? We have no business there. Why is ICE still terrorizing our communities? Where are the checks and balances? Why is the entire Democratic Party failing at every turn to meet this moment with the immediacy it needs? Why are some Democrats even rubber-stamping it, and why is Leadership doing nothing to bring them together? Your voters are disillusioned and discouraged by your ability (the Democratic Party specifically) to effectively oppose all the injustices happening right now, and you're expecting them to turn out in November? Tell me again how that worked out for you two years ago? You need a shakeup in Leadership. You need Progressive voices with the courage to speak up and put the brakes on an administration that's out of control. And yes, maybe you vote the right way on most issues, but we also need you to lead the charge on making the Democratic Party more palatable to the masses (and no, throwing the trans community under a bus is NOT how you do that). We need to see some actual fight from you. This country is in shambles, and your failure to even put up a fight (even if you lose, we will at least see the fight) is incredibly disheartening. We need more than tweets and platitudes. We need ACTION. We are terrified over here. Your branch of government is supposed to be of equal power to the Presidency, and we need you to stop conceding that to someone who has no business being the President.
