stop Trump’s dictatorial rule and demand accountability

To: Rep. Boebert, Sen. Bennet, Sen. Hickenlooper

From: A constituent in Loveland, CO

January 24

I am writing to express my outrage over the Trump’s ongoing abuses of power and violent authoritarianism. I ask that Congress: - forcefully condemn Trump's repeated calls for revenge and violence against political rivals; - stop ICE's aggressive attacks on immigrants and US CITIZENS! - demand full investigations into ICE's use of deadly force against protesters and their murders of US Citizens Renee Good and Alex Pretti; - refuse to pass any blank check federal spending bill that enables this authoritarian government’s unconstitutional practices; - refuse to pass any DHS appropriations bill that maintains funding for ICE - conduct investigations into Trump’s ongoing use of the White House to solicit bribes from private companies, billionaires, and foreign countries; - support articles of impeachment and move to convict and remove Trump for his repeated defiance of the law; - pledge to investigate and prosecute any government official who has participated in this administration’s illegal actions In any other administration, just one of these egregious displays of authoritarianism would merit the removal of a president. It is beyond unacceptable that Congress has ceded their constitutional role to allow this fascist attack on our democracy to continue. Congress must do their job as a member of a co-equal branch of government and stop Trump’s dictatorial rule. Thank you for your time and consideration.
