I want to hear that the Senate has removed the power grab portions of that big dastardly bill. I want to hear you are fighting for democracy, not just fiscal responsibility. I want to know you are following the Constitution...three equal branches of government. There is authoritarian crap in that budget bill. Are they stripped out yet? Why would you allow the president to ignore the Courts? Why would you allow the president to take away your control of spending? Why would you let the president take away all your power? If you pass that bill with that unconstitutional crap, why would there even be a Senate? Why would you take away states' rights to protect its citizens from AI? You need to make statements that you have read the bill and are removing the authoritarian plans of Project 2025 from that bill. Grow some balls and speak out against this unconstitutional bill. Uphold your oath and protect democracy.
