“Wipe blue states off the map.” Trump said this very thing at the Republican Governors Association this past Thursday, February 20th. And needless to say, that’s terrifying. Speculation of what he means ranges from widespread voter fraud to military action. No matter what he intends, and we should assume he intends something, we in the blue states are relying on YOU, our elected officials to take him seriously, investigate, and STOP whatever it is he and his cronies (and Russia) intend. Why should we, a state of this good union, a state that puts more money in this country than we receive, put up with threats from our president? This is so far from normal that it’s a bizarro world, the Upside Down. We didn’t take him seriously enough when he said that he didn’t need the votes in Pennsylvania. We, in these “blue states,” cannot succumb to this tyrant because we don’t take him seriously or believe he doesn’t have the power to bend the system to his will. He has gotten away with every crime he’s ever committed, INCLUDING inciting insurrection. The time to act was, well, yesterday, but NOW is the next best thing. We’re relying on you all to fight for us.
