I am writing to express my absolute disgust with the current administration's gross misuse of taxpayer funds, blatant corruption, and reckless foreign policy. As your constituent, I demand you take immediate action to hold the executive branch accountable. The ongoing desecration of the White House is unacceptable. The administration demolished the historic East Wing to construct a 90,000-square-foot ballroom as a personal vanity project. Despite initial promises of private funding, Congress is attempting to push through $1 billion in public funds under the guise of "security" for this monument to the president's ego. Furthermore, turning the South Lawn into a private venue for the UFC Freedom 250 event this June is a complete degradation of the people's house. Taxpayers will bear the cost of restoring the grounds for a closed-door event they are barred from attending. Equally appalling is the $1.8 billion Department of Justice slush fund. The president initiated a lawsuit against the government he controls and settled it by creating a massive fund drawn from the Treasury's Judgment Fund. Funneling taxpayer dollars to compensate political allies is a staggering abuse of power. You must support legislation to permanently dismantle this fund and prohibit self-dealing settlements. Finally, the undeclared and seemingly never-ending war in Iran is a gross violation of the Constitution. Congress holds the sole authority to declare war. Your continued refusal to check the executive branch and halt this endless military entanglement is a dereliction of your constitutional duty. American lives and resources are being squandered without congressional authorization or public consent.Your silence enables these abuses. I expect you to block any public funding for the White House ballroom, eliminate the DOJ slush fund, and assert your constitutional war powers regarding Iran immediately.
