I am asking that you call for for president Trump to pull the National Guard and the Marines (!!) out of Los Angeles. Their presence there is unnecessary and unwanted; it is inflaming tensions, manufacturing drama, and endangering everyone, not keeping anyone safe. LA residents (and all Americans!) have the right to protest peacefully. It is beyond reasonable for Los Angelenos to protest against ICE’s presence in their city. Trump is trying to create and benefit from a crisis where none existed. Also, ICE agents must be required show their faces, display identification, and come (only!) with signed judicial warrants. They are law enforcement officers. They need to act like it. Thank you.
