Dear Member of Congress, I urge you to begin impeachment proceedings against Donald Trump for actions that undermine constitutional governance and the rule of law. These include obstruction of congressional oversight through refusal to comply with lawful subpoenas, conduct related to January 6, 2021 and interference with the peaceful transfer of power, use of military force without explicit congressional authorization as required under Article I, concerns regarding potential violations of the Foreign and Domestic Emoluments Clauses, and efforts to assert authority over election processes that the Constitution assigns to the states and to Congress. Article II requires the President to faithfully execute the laws. Article I grants Congress the powers of impeachment, war authorization, oversight, and regulation of federal elections. Under Article VI, you swore an oath to support and defend the Constitution. Please uphold that oath and take immediate steps to protect constitutional governance.
