I’m emailing you today to express my support for policies and legislation prohibiting local law enforcement from cooperating with ICE. Numerous human rights violations, including the recent homicide of Rohingya refugee Nurul Amin Shah Alam make it crucial we resist the administration’s cruel agenda. Many states are pushing back against the administration’s attempts to recruit local officers to aid ICE. Please do everything in your power to prohibit our local officers from cooperating with ICE.
