Advantages to asking China to help provide “insurance” in the Persian Gulf: ** they embarrass themselves if they say No. Put up or shut up. ** a really unique chance to cooperate/communicate with them. ** we get to see some of their hardware up close, even if they send the oldest junk they have that still floats. But, you’re already thinking about this. You have the support of people that aren’t being interviewed by the USA today newspaper, Gallup surveys, PBS and etc., Mr. President!
