I’m writing to express my alarm about the Trump administration's unauthorized military strikes in Venezuela and dangerous escalation toward an illegal and unnecessary war. I ask that you immediately pass a war powers resolution to block all unauthorized strikes or military action in Venezuela. In addition, you should hold public hearings to investigate the legality and justification for the administration's aggressive use of military force. Lastly, I support the impeachment of Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth as well as President Trump for his repeated defiance of the law. Thank you for your time and consideration.
