I am writing as a constituent to demand that you immediately move forward with articles of impeachment against the President of the United States.
The Constitution is clear: impeachment exists to address presidential misconduct, abuse of power, and violations of public trust. When a President engages in behavior that undermines the rule of law, democratic institutions, or constitutional limits on executive authority, Congress has not only the power but the obligation to act. Failure to do so is a dereliction of duty.
Delay, deflection, or appeals to political expediency do not serve the public interest. They erode confidence in our system of government and send the message that the President is above accountability. That is incompatible with the oath you swore to uphold and defend the Constitution.
I expect you to publicly support, introduce, and advance articles of impeachment and to use every lawful means available to ensure that the President is held accountable. This is not a partisan issue; it is a constitutional one.
I will be watching your actions closely and will consider your response when deciding how to engage civically and electorally in the future.
