I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the ongoing ethical violations and corruption associated with President Donald Trump. Senator Elizabeth Warren has previously highlighted numerous acts of corruption during Trump's administration, emphasizing the need for accountability and transparency in our government. Recent reports have brought to light several alarming instances:CREW • Cryptocurrency Ventures: President Trump launched a meme coin, $TRUMP, shortly before taking office, which has been linked to unethical practices, including offering exclusive access to the president in exchange for coin ownership. Critics argue this initiative undermines cryptocurrency regulation efforts.  • Foreign Gifts: Trump accepted a $400 million luxury Boeing 747-8 jet from Qatar, raising constitutional concerns over the Emoluments Clause. While Trump claims the jet will go to his presidential library, the acceptance of such gifts from foreign entities is deeply troubling. • Hatch Act Violations: Under President Trump's watch, 14 administration officials have violated the Hatch Act over 50 times. At least another 22 officials are presently under investigation for nearly 100 more violations. • Financial Fraud: A New York court found Trump and his companies liable to pay $354.8 million for financial fraud, citing the presentation of vastly disparate property values to potential lenders and tax officials. These actions undermine the integrity of our democratic institutions and erode public trust. It is imperative that Congress takes decisive action to investigate these matters thoroughly and consider appropriate measures to hold those responsible accountable. I urge you to support initiatives aimed at restoring ethical standards and ensuring that no individual is above the law. Our democracy depends on the vigilance and commitment of our elected officials to uphold the principles upon which our nation was founded. Thank you for your attention to this critical issue.
