This tragic escalation of violence in Gaza has already claimed far too many innocent lives, including 12 Palestinians killed in a strike on a school sheltering displaced civilians. Such indiscriminate attacks are unconscionable and only fuel more hatred and suffering. I urge you to leverage your influence to demand an immediate ceasefire, protect civilian lives, and stop supplying Israel with weapons that enable these atrocities. Further military action will only breed more trauma and destabilize the region. Sustained diplomacy towards a just resolution through equitable dialogue is the only path forward to end this long-standing conflict.
