Dear Member of Congress, I am demanding that you initiate impeachment proceedings against Donald Trump for conduct that strikes at the heart of the Constitution. Article II, Section 3 requires that the President “take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed.” Article II, Section 4 provides for impeachment in cases of “high Crimes and Misdemeanors.” These provisions exist for moments when a president places personal power above constitutional duty. Documented conduct including refusal to comply with lawful congressional subpoenas, efforts to pressure state officials to overturn certified election results, actions connected to January 6, 2021, and public attacks on judges along with violations of court imposed orders resulting in judicial sanctions demonstrates a pattern of defiance toward constitutional limits, lawful oversight, and the authority of the courts. Additionally, Trump has not sought out congressional approval when required. These are only a few of MANY reasons why he should be impeached...not to mention the thousands of times his name appears in the Epstein files! Under Article I, Sections 2 and 3, the impeachment power belongs to Congress. Under Article VI, you swore an oath to defend the Constitution. That oath is not symbolic. It requires courage. The oath demands action TODAY. History will remember whether the United States Congress defended the rule of law when it was tested. Begin impeachment proceedings now!
