Vote NO on the SAVE Act

To: Sen. Paul, Sen. McConnell

From: A verified voter in Dry Ridge, KY

February 16

I am writing to you today to ask you to vote NO on the SAVE Act. The SAVE Act will set up unnecessary hurdles to voting, especially for any woman who changed her name after marriage. The documents required to prove citizenship are not free and, for many, will take time away from work to retrieve. This is, essentially a poll tax. It is already illegal in all 50 states for non'citizens to vote in local, state and federal elections. Even the Heritage Foundation has found that the number of non-citizens voting in our elections is not significant. The SAVE Act is voter suppression disguised as a solution to a problem that doesn't not exist. Please vote no on the Save Act and move on to important issues, like reigning in this administration's unconstitutional actions against US citizens.
