I am writing to express my deep concern and frustration over your continued silence and inaction as the American people endure unnecessary suffering due to the recent wave of tariffs. These tariffs — implemented without a clear, justified purpose — are wreaking havoc on working families and small businesses across this district and the country. People are losing their jobs. Prices for food, gas, and rent are skyrocketing. Many in our community are struggling to make ends meet, and yet you remain noticeably absent from this conversation. Where is your voice? Where is your leadership? We elected you to represent us — not to sit by while policies that hurt your constituents go unchecked. We need you to speak up. We need you to fight back. The American people deserve better than silence. If you continue to ignore the real and growing hardship in your district, you should not expect support come the next election. Midterms are around the corner, and voters will remember who stood with them — and who did not. I urge you to put partisanship and political calculation aside. Stand up for the people who put you in office. We are watching. We are waiting.
