An Open Letter

To: Rep. Cuellar

From: A verified voter in Converse, TX

April 17

As a member of the House Appropriations committee, I am sure you know who authorized the Executive Branch to spend millions of dollars to send people to a concentration camp in El Salvador without due process. When did Congress authorize this? Did it go through your committee? WHY did you allow this to through? If it was not authorized by the House, where did it come from? Why are we spending our money to send people to concentration camps, without any charges, or evidence presented? Where was their right to address their accuser? To have counsel? These rights belong to all people, not just citizens... and even if they were only for citizens, when were they given a chance to prove their citizenship? This is the job of YOU. You are a member of Congress. You are specifically on the committee that must have approved this money. What are you doing about it?
