The Justice Department has a court-ordered deadline of September 24 to release the remaining Epstein files, and I want you to make sure it actually happens. Judge Emmet Sullivan has already found that Attorney General Todd Blanche failed to adequately comply with previous orders, rejected the DOJ's arguments as "without merit," and warned that contempt proceedings are on the table. That's not a close call — that's a department stonewalling a federal judge. The DOJ has had every opportunity to comply and has chosen not to. Journalist Katie Phang's lawsuit under the Epstein Files Transparency Act has exposed how the government is hiding behind claims of "administrative inconvenience" and labeling millions of records as duplicative or nonresponsive. That's not victim protection — that's obstruction dressed up in legal language. Use your oversight authority to demand full, unredacted compliance by September 24. If Blanche misses that deadline, push for contempt proceedings immediately. The public has waited long enough.
