I am writing to urge you to publicly and unequivocally oppose any pardon, commutation, or clemency for Ghislaine Maxwell.
A jury of her peers delivered a verdict that reflects the gravity of her crimes against children. Overriding this sentence in exchange for testimony is not justice; it is a transactional betrayal of the survivors.
Furthermore, I am concerned that the debate over trading Maxwell’s freedom for information suggests a failure within our own institutions. With the millions of pages of documents already released under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, the DOJ and FBI should already have the evidence necessary to pursue every co-conspirator.
Maxwell’s testimony should be superfluous. We do not need a deal with a convicted predator to find the truth; we need the DOJ and FBI to do their jobs without regard for partisan politics or the protection of high-profile individuals.
I ask that you:
1. Support Senate Resolution 608 (or its House equivalent) to oppose any presidential clemency for Maxwell.
2. Pressure the Department of Justice to use existing evidence to secure indictments against the broader network of associates immediately.
Justice for victims must not be a bargaining chip. Please stand firm in ensuring Ghislaine Maxwell serves her full sentence.
