The actions of the Trump administration and the RNC to access voter data, voting machines, and voting records raise serious concerns about potential interference in free and fair elections. Trump and his allies appear to be pressuring election officials and pursuing strategies that could undermine election integrity and public confidence in the democratic process. While promoting election security is important, these tactics seem aimed more at gaining partisan advantage than genuine reform. It is crucial that elections remain nonpartisan and follow established laws and procedures. Efforts to circumvent proper channels, access sensitive voting equipment improperly, or unilaterally alter voting rules are unacceptable in a democracy. I urge you to uphold the integrity of our elections by resisting any attempts at improper influence or manipulation, and to ensure voting remains free, fair and accessible to all eligible citizens regardless of party affiliation. We must have full faith in the credibility of our electoral system.
