An Open Letter

From: A constituent in Prosperity, SC
October 14
Dear everyone please , I am writing to demand that you introduce and actively support legislation creating a federal transparency system (linking data sharing to government of States) consisting of two connected platforms built on one secured hub. The first system is public. It must ITEMIZE every Penny of federal, state, and county spendings — every department, agency, program, ALL departments that utilize tax payers funds— make that information searchable by any citizen from any device. We the people should be able to view a detailed itemized list of every penny spent from Washington to all 50 states; every penny and half penny and where it landed. The second system is secured. For government officials use ;It provides authorized state and federal officials with same database as the one above but has a place where state officials can dispute spending and flag as inappropriate. This committee should be Congress tapped in to making sure Federal and states are not abusing funds in which case Congress votes and brings to Supreme Court Justice of court This system allows real-time tracking of spending flows, the ability to flag misuse, and formal standing for any state to challenge how another state spends federal funds. Every taxpayer in the country is affected by that money and we the people should have a line where we the public people can channel an email that ALL Congress people Receive; through this site; this system promotes and provides that our federal - state governmental people have a mechanism to ensure transparency all around . We the people demand accountability. . No more scattered databases. No more incomplete records. I further demand that Starlink be contracted as the technical infrastructure partner for this hub. SpaceX operates Starlink, the largest and most advanced satellite network on Earth, and is the leading provider of secure, high-speed global connectivity. Under a competitive, transparent, congressionally overseen contract, SpaceX would supply the network backbone that makes real-time public access possible from any state, any county, and any device. The government would retain full ownership and control of the data. This is a contracted infrastructure role of the same type the federal government already uses with private vendors for critical systems. Congress already funds USAspending.gov, yet that platform is incomplete, underused, and does not include state or county data. This proposal builds directly on that foundation by requiring mandatory participation from every level of government and establishing a single, reliable point of access. I demand that you introduce this legislation without delay and respond to me in writing with your position and a clear timeline within thirty days. If I receive no substantive response, I will escalate this demand to the full South Carolina congressional delegation, relevant oversight committees, and the public record. Sincerely, Melissa DuVall
