Greenland

To: Rep. Deluzio, Sen. Fetterman, Sen. McCormick

From: A constituent in Pittsburgh, PA

January 20

I am writing to demand that you publicly and unequivocally oppose any attempt by Donald Trump or any U.S. official to acquire Greenland through coercion, threats, or force. Greenland is not for sale, and its people have the right to self-determination under international law. Any suggestion of taking foreign territory by force is dangerous, unlawful, and fundamentally un-American. Congress has a constitutional duty to prevent abuses of executive power and to block any move toward military aggression against an ally or its territory. Silence is not acceptable. I urge you to speak out immediately and take concrete action to ensure this idea is rejected in word and in law. The United States must stand for diplomacy and sovereignty—not intimidation.
