Please take act immediately to stop this Republican administration's reckless, illegal war with Iran. The administration started this war without a coherent plan and broke the law by bypassing Congress. It then claimed "total and complete victory," while simultaneously saying "we're not finished yet." That is not a strategy. This is chaos and posturing. Now Iran has closed the Strait of Hormuz, cutting off 20% of the world's oil supply and damaging the global economy. American families will pay the price at the pump and in their wallets. This war is serving the administration's political objectives while costing the American people. My wife and I urge you to use every tool at your disposal to defund this military action, demand congressional authorization before any escalation, and hold this administration accountable for launching an illegal war without understanding its implications.
