I am writing to urge you to take immediate action regarding the arcade-style games that have been added to http://WhiteHouse.gov. These games are completely inappropriate for an official government website and should be removed immediately. The White House website represents the United States government and the American people. It should be used to provide accurate information about government policies, programs, services, and the work of the presidency—not as a platform for entertainment, political messaging, or content that demeans people based on race or ethnicity. The fact that these games contain racist and offensive imagery is deeply disturbing. Regardless of political party or personal ideology, government resources should never be used to promote or normalize racist stereotypes. The White House should be a symbol of the United States and all of its citizens. Using an official government platform in this manner is disgraceful and undermines the dignity and credibility that should accompany the office of the presidency. I am also deeply concerned about the use of taxpayer-funded resources for this purpose. American taxpayers work hard to fund our government, and public resources should be directed toward serving the public—not creating arcade games or other forms of political entertainment. At a time when Americans are being asked to make difficult choices about government spending, it is unacceptable to spend taxpayer money on frivolous projects while legitimate needs and priorities remain unmet. I respectfully ask that Congress investigate how these games were developed, who authorized them, how much taxpayer money was spent creating and maintaining them, and whether appropriate government procedures and contracting requirements were followed. Most importantly, I urge you to demand that the games be removed from http://WhiteHouse.gov. This is bigger than partisan politics. Government websites belong to the American people. They should reflect the seriousness, dignity, and responsibility of public service—not racism, political spectacle, or wasteful spending. Please take this matter seriously and hold those responsible accountable for the misuse of a public government platform.
