Investigate DOJ Obstruction of the Epstein Files & Appoint a Special Counsel

October 28

Investigate the Department of Justice's obstruction of the Epstein files and appoint an independent special counsel to pursue every co-conspirator named in the House Judiciary Committee Democrats' new staff report. The Epstein Files Transparency Act is law. Where are the unredacted Epstein files? The report documents that DOJ actively blocked the Epstein investigation, tried to prevent the files' release, and then released a heavily redacted, incomplete set. Attorney General Todd Blanche, while serving as Deputy Attorney General, directed Ghislaine Maxwell during a prison interview not to discuss an individual whose FBI report implicated Trump. That is criminal obstruction of justice. Maria Farmer's FBI reports appear to have been unlawfully omitted from the released files entirely. Congress passed the EFTA. Congress must enforce it. If Blanche will not comply with the law, that disqualifies him from the office he holds. The survivors who came forward to committee staff gave detailed, credible accounts. They are owed a full, independent investigation, not a cover-up managed by the very officials implicated in it. Demand the complete, unredacted files and a special counsel with no conflict of interest.
