I read a very concerning piece in the Dallas morning news today. Veterans that are being dismissed only because they are transgender will not be eligible for retirement benefits even if served honorably. I do not think a transgender individual should serve in most positions of our military but I would like to see grace. That is what Jesus taught. If we are going to eliminate transgender from the military then fine but those that served honorably should receive benefits. This is a slippery slope. Protect our active service members and our veterans. Full stop. You support our veterans so support ALL of them.
