President Trump has recently said, “we shouldn’t even have an election” regarding midterms. A president saying that midterms should not happen in a democracy is disgraceful, and a scare tactic. While the president cannot stop or postpone elections, you must do everything within your power to support voting rights. It does not matter who wins the election so long as it is free, fair, and not influenced by outside countries and US corporations. While the president is just using rhetoric, is it’s possible for this to prevent people from voting. Please do everything within your power to publicize the importance of the midterm election and uphold the integrity of elections, mail in voting and early voting included.
