It's been 57 days. 57 days of staring aghast at the actions and news out of Trump's administration. Watching which departments the UNAPPOINTED, UNCONFIRMED PRESIDENTIAL "ADVISOR" in charge of DOGE has targeted today. How many Americans have needlessly lost their jobs because a blowhard with a narcissistic personality decided he'd rather grant tax breaks to his buddies than serve the American people. Watch my children's AMERICAN BORN friends become more and more worried that because their skin a shade or two darker than my children, they'll come home to an empty house, or picked up from school and torn from everything they've known since birth due to the hatred & racism of the jerk in the White House. Watching the stock market free fall since DJT took office in January because he acts like a toddler threatening OUR HISTORIC ALLIES with tariff wars that he can't decide when to start, so we're all in a constant state worry about how soon we’ll be unable to afford food? How soon will prices soar? Watching as we become the laughingstock of the world, how quickly a great Democracy, that our ancestors fought for, to become an open oligarchy, just to further line the wealthiest men's pockets? Watching how blatantly unhinged he becomes, hopefully that SOMEONE, ANYONE, will step up from Congress, from the Supreme Court, how our system of CHECKS AND BALANCES are supposed to work, and tell him to get back in his lane and serve the American people, the 99% of us deserve a seat at the table as well. Senator Moran, you've given glimpses that you don't agree with what is going on. You've made public comments in support of Kansan farmers, their products and the impact losing USAID farm programs will hurt. But you've shown no action. MAKE A DIFFERENCE. STOP RUBBER STAMPING TRUMP'S RIDICULOUS ACTIONS - You've already said you're not running again - you should be the freest you've been. Use that freedom to stand out in the History books - they're waiting to be written, for heroes to be shown. You have that ability. I believe, based on what I've seen watching you for years, you're a principled man, raised by hardworking Kansans who knows what is right and wrong - while you and I will likely never agree on most topics, I can respectfully disagree with your policies and still support the work I know you want to do to improve Kansans' lives. Please show us THAT man for the next 4 years. Senator Marshall, you're no better than Trump. You ran from constituents when your boss's actions proved unpopular, with Republicans and Democrats alike. You tell us we just need to buckle up and weather the storm your idiot is causing. I have no hope that you'll suddenly grow a spine but I'll continue to write, letting you know how unpopular your positions, policies and statements are. I'd love for you to slink back to your swamp mansion far from Kansas but know we'll have to put up with your smarmy face for another 2 years. But I'd love if you proved me wrong. I dare you.
