I watched the video of the exchange that has since gone viral, and I want you to know that your courage and commitment to holding this administration accountable gave me hope. We are living in a time when fundamental rights are under threat, and too often, the most vulnerable among us are treated as disposable. The fact that American citizens have been unlawfully detained and deported is not only unconstitutional but unconscionable. Your willingness to confront this injustice so directly—and so publicly—is exactly the kind of leadership we need in Congress right now. Please continue pushing back.
