I’m writing to urge Senators Baldwin and Johnson and Representative Pocan to oppose the Trump administration’s attacks on immigrants and those perceived to be immigrants and demand an end to the cruelty exhibited by ICE agents. Federal agents are terrorizing our communities with unlawful racial profiling, violating due process rights, and subjecting innocent people to extremely inhumane treatment. The recent raid in Chicago is a clear example of the harm ICE is perpetrating on families. I expect the three of you to find a way to hold this administration accountable for their authoritarian tactics. Thank you for your time and consideration.
