Section 504 is an extremely important law that protects people with disabilities and I am writing to urge you to defend it in whatever way you can. The Utah state Attorney General has signed onto a lawsuit asking for it's repeal and I think it's underly dispicable. It is completely unchristian to hurt the most vulnerable in our society by removing protections that allow them to live and work as regular members of the public; Christ would be ashamed of anyone asking for this. This lawsuit is not only morally unjust, it's going to be hurtful to the economy, it will weaken the ability of the people with disabilities to both learn and work which will negatively impact the income tax revenue and spending power of a significant portion of the population of not only Utah but the entire United States. This lawsuit is a terrible idea and a terrible thing to do to people and will not be able to continue to support any candidate that supports it.
