Now is the time for Republicans to grow a spine. The President of the United States has called for Democratic lawmakers to be put to death. The man who has called the left violent is outright suggesting that Democrats should die. Why? For *rightly* stating that members of the military should refuse to follow any unlawful orders. The Nuremberg Trials put the "I was just following orders“ argument to bed once and for all. It was not an acceptable excuse then, and it is not an acceptable excuse now. The men and women of the U. S. Military take an oath to the Constitution, not to the President, as do you as lawmakers. There has even been evidence produced during the January 6th investigation that certain Republican members of Congress participated in the planning of an insurrection against our country, and nobody from the Executive Branch suggested they should be hanged. (But they think they deserve a payout.) This President's rhetoric *must* be condemned. Do we really need more assassination attempts, death threats, and political violence? You must do the right thing and tell him this is completely unacceptable. Follow your oaths and do your jobs!
