Greetings Representative Schrier, I am embarrassed and ashamed to have you as my representative. At a time where ICE is deporting legal citizens, killing protestors, and making us less safe, you voted to thank them for their service. My child is afraid to walk home from school because they are often perceived as Latino. I’ve had to talk to them about ensuring their safety, despite being a US citizen because ICE agents aren’t concerned with citizenship, they are concerned with numbers. It’s truly shameful that you claim to represent your constituents best interest while thanking ICE for the harm they do. May your pillow always be warm.
