Your continued abdication of your constitutional duties while Donald Trump advances Vladimir Putin’s interests is an absolute disgrace. You have traded your responsibility to defend this country for blind allegiance to a president whose actions increasingly benefit a hostile foreign power. Your silence is cowardice. Your inaction is complicity. Trump is weakening Russian sanctions, providing Putin economic relief, undermining Ukraine, and helping dismantle the international security alliances America spent 80 years building. Putin couldn’t ask for a more accommodating occupant of the White House. The Republican Party once celebrated Reagan for confronting Soviet aggression. Now you three sit obediently while Trump rolls out the red carpet for a Russian dictator. What happened to country before party? What happened to your oaths? What happened to your spines? Congress has oversight powers for precisely this reason. Yet instead of demanding accountability, you have become spectators to the degradation of American national security. Your oath was to the Constitution, not Donald Trump. Your obligation is to the American people, not Vladimir Putin. Demand immediate hearings. Challenge Trump’s concessions to Russia. Exercise your constitutional authority. West Virginians deserve representatives with the courage to defend this country, not three politicians who confuse loyalty to Trump with patriotism. History will remember who stood up for America and who stood aside while Putin got exactly what he wanted.
