H.R. 7661-Stop the Sexualization of Children Act is a children’s book ban directed at trans children and gender dysphoria, with extension to any topics related to sex that certain people don’t like, such as same sex parents or even gender role differences, such as women having careers outside the home and being single or not having children. There are already federal and state laws defining sexual obscenity as related to children. This bill attempts to extend those laws to legal sexual and gender behavior & roles that some people don’t like. Instead of Congress focusing on the alleged rape, murder and torture of children by wealthy white American men, Congress is focused on restricting 1st Amendment’s Freedom of Speech and the 14th’s Amendment’s Equal Protection Clause. This proposed law is unconstitutional as written. Please vote against the House version and any such Senate version.
