A better way
To: Pres. Biden

Mr. President, I write to you in the hopes that you will pass this on to the vice president who I apparently cannot access with this app.
But first, let me say thank you, thank you, thank you! You have done a spectacular job in these last almost 4 years and your sacrifice of power was unprecedented and brilliant. Thank you.
Now, the message I would like you to pass on to Kamala.
Madam Vice President. I have seen you react to protesters at your rallies at least twice. While it is amusing to tell them to go to the smaller rally down the street, I have a much better tack I think you should take instead. I suggest that what you say is:
“Security! Please bring these people some water because I bet their throats are dry from all the shouting that they’re doing above these 20 (30, 40, 50, 60) thousand people attending this rally! And please, protesters, come in and sit down. I bet you’re tired of standing and shouting. I also bet that you’re protesting something that you don’t know the full story on and I invite you to stay and listen to another perspective. Another way of seeing the things you think you know so well. I invite you all to come in and listen. Listen to other stories and then decide where you stand on an issue. You can’t decide where you stand if you only know one way of seeing it. Democracy is knowing all sides and then making a choice. And the Democratic Party is about inclusion and we would like to include you in our party and our legislation and our compassion and our caring and our sharing of the American dream.
Please, come in and sit down and join us!”
I have already voted and so proud to vote for a woman, especially one so strong. We will know the fate of the world in 10 days. Good luck.
