Time for new Democratic leadership

I am writing from San Francisco to express my dismay that some Democrats have joined Republicans on Monday, passing legislation which would re-open the federal government without the ACA issues being addressed. Further, I am concerned about the House advancing the CR to the president's desk — I suspect we will see similar defections in the House. But really this note is to express my disappointment with Democratic leadership in letting these individuals slip through. It's a failure not only of vision but of execution by an aging old guard of democratic "leadership" — which needs to be replaced with younger and more progressive policies.
