All Persons in the State of Kansas should have the option to access cannabis in all its forms for medical or recreational purposes. As you should know, THC is in the process of being rescheduled as class 3 substance. Alcohol has huge addiction and health risks but is nationally allowed and is not classified as a substance. Alcohol is harmful to the user, and can incite violence to property or other people. Cannabis has been studied for decades, it is not harmful to the user and long term use does not shut down organs like alcohol. Cannabis has proven medicinal properties unlike other substances. It will only be accessible by adults who are fully capable of making their own choices for medication or stress relief. This bill would result in increased economic involvement and give more money to Kansas. We have been able to consume delta, CBD and Kratom products without issue. Your people are asking for a simple expansion instead of reverting to incorrect judgments that have been disproven. If THC will not be allowed in Kansas, why would alcohol be? It is a simple matter of consistent policies and freedom of choice. With the decline of our country, sober people are miserable and vices are necessary to get through the day. Either fix the country so people are happy or allow proven medicine, healthy stress relief, and emotional decompression. 40 out of 50 states have legalized THC without issue. Will we join them or drag behind?
