Vote No on the SAVE America Act
To: Rep. Wagner, Sen. Schmitt, Sen. Hawley
From: A constituent in High Ridge, MO
June 16
I heard that the President is not going to sign any legislation until the SAVE America act is passed. Do not vote for this power grab from the States to run their own elections. The administration has forgotten the last year of investigating voter fraud. They have found little to none. But that is not what he says even though that is what they have found. He is ok with his lye and not the truth. He cries about the states taking to long to count votes. That is just the way it works. Being careful takes time and our votes matter. So sit tight and wait for the process to happen. Stop whining and stop repeating the lyes. It’s not cheating it is the careful process working. I want you to stand up for the integrity of our state. I am opposed to states being required to turn over their voter roles. It violates the way the Constitution has set up elections. This administration is targeting the opposition in the country to its policies and calling them criminals because of their opinions . We have the freedom of speech and therefore the right to our opinions, freedom of assembly and the right to vote. The freedom to vote is our franchise. Y’all serve us because we voted you into office. That is the way it works. The Administration is ok with lawlessness and intimidation of US Citizens. Look at the recent FBI raid of Ohio Voter Collective and the unprofessional behavior of its agents. Look at ICE and CBP who do not follow the law for due process and legal counsel. Trump is ok with it. In fact he is threatening to send them to the polls. They have murdered citizens without being held accountable. They perform warrantless searches and seizures, abuse citizens damage property etc. etc. and the administration is ok with it. These are all voter suppression tactics. You must stop them from continuing. When you see these trends of retribution, abuse and lawlessness how can it be a good idea to allow this into law. The separation of powers for the states to run their elections it is essential to our democracy. This bill however is unnecessary and against the constitutions intent. It was the worry that there may be such a want a be king and administration with lawless contempt for the rule of law , the constitution and the people’s rights that the founding fathers set it up this way. Follow your oath of office to defend the constitution. Defend our states right to hold free and fair elections. If this bill comes up for a vote - Vote NO.
