I am retired on Social Security and Federal retirement. Social Security gave me a 2.8% COLA. Federal retirement gave me a 2% COLA. I'm afraid to look at how much my Medicare cost went up but I guarantee you it was more than 2.8%!!! DENTAL expenses are driving me into bankruptcy! At the same time YOU, Congress, refused to deal with COLA issues for decades. YOU CHEERFULLY GUARANTEED THAT RETIREES WILL GET POORER EVERY YEAR! You pretend to represent us but you do not back up your claims with action. You don't want to help us. You do not want to make things better for Americans. You only work for corporations. You only work for the Stock Market. We are rebelling. The time has come to force Congress to act in our interests instead of your lobbyists! Do not tell me there's nothing you can do. Do not tell me that you're "working on it". Get busy or get out.
