This Republican administration has executed suspected drug runners without trial. It has kidnapped a foreign leader, and killed another. It has started a war, and is contemplating another invasion. All of this is without any input from Congress. Regardless what you may think about the actors involved and the threats they present, these are the actions of an authoritarian regime with no regard for the rule of law or the Constitution. Why are you, a member of Congress, allowing your authority to be usurped? You and your colleagues have the power to stop this. You have the power to restore our democracy. Why are you not doing so? My wife and I urge you to demand an end to this autocratic administration’s extra-Constitutional actions and save our republic.
