As a member of the United Nations, the United States should be supporting Ukraine in their defense against Russian invasion and aggression. As a country, we recognize the importance of sovereignty and independence from foreign powers. When Russia kicked in their door, invading Ukraine, president Zelenskyy stood his ground, defending his homeland and freedom. He has been steadfast in defending his country and his people. As Americans, mindful of our own history, we should urge the President, Vice President, and Secretary of State to support Ukraine's rightful independence. In that realm, you must remind President Trump, Vice President Vance and Secretary Rubio that our stance is against Russia, and in doing so, remind Presi dent Trump that he works for the people of the United States, and that as a sovereign nation in our own right, we help support the sovereignty of others.
