I am writing to demand that you immediately cosponsor and support Senate Joint Resolution 32. This resolution would prohibit the sale of Caterpillar bulldozers to Israel—machines that are not neutral equipment, but tools of demolition, dispossession, and war crimes. These bulldozers are purpose-built and routinely used to: • Destroy Palestinian homes • Demolish civilian infrastructure • Displace families and communities • Enforce collective punishment These are weapons of war. These are instruments of war crimes. These are tools of ethnic cleansing. The same type of Caterpillar bulldozer was used to kill Rachel Corrie—a U.S. citizen crushed while attempting to prevent a home demolition. This is not abstract. This is documented. This is ongoing. There is no legitimate justification for continuing to authorize the transfer of equipment used to carry out: • Genocide • War crimes • Crimes against humanity • Systematic destruction of civilian life Congress must stop enabling this. COSPONSOR S.J.Res. 32. BLOCK THE SALE. END U.S. COMPLICITY IN DEMOLITIONS. Anything less is a failure to uphold both U.S. law and international law. I will be watching your actions closely.
