ICE and Kristi Noem need to follow the constitution and rule of law.

To: Sen. Rounds, Rep. Johnson, Sen. Thune

From: A constituent in Watertown, SD

January 10

I’m reaching out to you today with growing concern over ICE’s tactics and behavior. Growing numbers of people, many of which are US Citizens, are being inappropriately treated, not given the opportunity for due process, and harmed or even killed. The degree of force, abuse and harassment grows each week. Growing reports of Native Americans are also being taken by ICE. Racial profiling is evident daily. I am calling on you, my representatives, to demand ICE staff follow the rules of law and of due process under the constitution for seeking, detaining, interacting and handling fellow humans. Those that have broken the law need to be arrested and charged with their crimes. And Kristi Noem should take full responsibility for the errors, failures and unlawful behaviors of ICE members. As the head of the department, ultimately she is responsible. Assert your congressional powers to protect your constituents and all humans. Thank you.
