It is almost beyond comprehension that the Trump organization has directed the IRS to remove Harvard University’s tax exempt status. It is especially disconcerting when considering the reasons why: they don’t agree with him. How is it being accepted that an independent institution of higher learning—one of the world’s best—is being punished for practicing their right to free speech. How are you continuing to stay silent on the face of the blatant illegality of the Trump administration? You represent me. You represent Ohio. You represent the rule of law. I urge you to take action to put a stop to the myriad criminal activities underway in the Whitehouse. Our democracy’s future depends on it.
