Block any tax breaks or subsidies for Alaska LNG. Alaskans own these resources, and handing corporate giveaways to large energy companies means ordinary residents and the state budget absorb the risk while private interests pocket the profits. That is not a deal worth making.
Alaska's oil and gas wealth has already been used to justify sweetheart arrangements that benefit shareholders over communities. LNG development should stand on its own economic merits or not at all. If a project can only pencil out with public subsidies, that is a signal the risk is being offloaded onto taxpayers, not a reason to approve it. Hold the line, protect Alaska's resources, and refuse to let corporate lobbying rewrite the terms in their favor.
