I am a voting citizen and I’m writing to beg you to not let the proposed ballroom be built using tax payers’ money. Trump tore the East Wing of the White House down without getting permission from Congress. He said the new ballroom was being paid for totally by voluntary donations. Now he’s asking for billions of dollars from taxpayer money in the U.S. Treasury. No! Don’t let that happen please! That money comes from our earnings, and is to be used for our benefit. We don’t want a new ballroom. We want infrastructures, social safety nets, and affordable food, housing, and medical care. No tax payer money for a new ballroom please!
