Please join U.S. House Historic Preservation Caucus co-chairs, Congressman Mike Turner (R-OH) and Congresswoman Teresa Leger Fernández (D-NM) in their FY26 Dear Colleague Letter in support of $225 million for the Historic Preservation Fund. This fund is currently frozen for 2025 and proposed to be drastically cut for 2026. Your support must be added by Friday to continue funding State and Tribal Historic Preservation Offices who help the government and developers identify important historical places, who make recommendations about how to avoid impacting them where possible, and who manage all data about these National Historic Preservation Act reviews. Protect American history!
