Hi, I'm a constituent from Boulder. I’m writing to urge the Senator to condemn the Trump administration’s deportation of Venezuelan immigrants, which occurred without due process and in defiance of federal court orders. This situation is deeply troubling. These individuals were already detained and posed no immediate threat. Furthermore, we are not at war with Venezuela, and some deportees sent to El Salvador have been found not to be gang members—this is unacceptable. Congress must take action by subpoenaing officials responsible for these deportations, investigating the unlawful detention of innocent immigrants, and holding the administration accountable for disregarding judicial orders.
