Bill 231 is about imposing a 25% reduction on local boards of education found in violation of this bill, requiring there be an implementation of pray everyday of Christian judaism values. I am here to say please Oppose this bill!! There needs to be a separation of church and state!! This law treads on the religious right and freedoms of all other religions including other Christian religions. This is a disgusting bill that forces one religion on all people’s which is the opposite of freedom that our country is known for. This is not what this state needs. Stop supporting such outrageous legislation and do what you were voted into office for which is to help the citizens of Alabama, not cause more bureaucracy over things that for individuals to decide themselves on. Keep religion OUT of schools!! Vote No on 231
